The drug Phosphatidylcholin was originally developed and used to dissolve fat globules in blood vessels and reduce blood fat levels. After it became evident that direct application also eliminates unwanted fat deposits, it has been used more and more as a fat-reduction injection for body sculpting. The drug is evenly injected throughout the fat deposits and develops its full effect within 2 to 4 weeks. No serious complication have become evident so far.

If, despite sport and a balanced diet, disproportionate accumulations of fat detract from the harmonious appearance of the body, liosuction can help.  Liposuction is the most common aesthetic-plastic procedure worldwide.  The technique has been perfected to such an extent that precise aesthetic results can be attained with very high certainty and discomfort during or after treatment can be largely avoided.  We carry out liposuction under local anaesthetic or light anaesthetic and recommend that the patient then stays in the clinic for one night. Following the procedure, the patient should wear a corset day and night for one week. Afterwards it should be worn during the daytime only for a further two to four weeks.
